Your voice your talent
Born in Louisiana, raised under the big skies of Texas, and sharpened by the road, Jeremiah
Throwbridge is a country-rock force of nature. With a voice full of grit and a story that runs deep,
Jeremiah blends the raw emotion of Southern soul with the no-holds-barred energy of rock and
roll. His music is unapologetically bold—equal parts swampy grit, Texas twang, and high-octane
riffs. Jeremiah’s journey started at 14 with a beat-up $5 guitar and a neighbor who saw enough
spark in him to trade lawn work for lessons and a better instrument. From leading worship bands
to fronting rock groups, to now carving his path as a solo artist, Jeremiah’s sound is a reflection of
every mile, every struggle, and every stage he’s conquered. It’s been a winding road – including
joining the military at 26 – but every twist shows up in his music. Now signed to the disruptive,
female-owned label Young Outlaw Music, Jeremiah is ready to break boundaries and reach wider
audiences.
”Whiskey Drinkers” – ”The chorus came to me one day while I was at work, and I thought to myself,
’that’s a catchy melody, but I hate the words.’ I worked on several versions of the chorus because I
did not want to write a song about whiskey drinking. However, nothing I wrote had the same bite to
it. One day, I’m driving home from work, toiling over these lyrics in my mind when I swear I heard
the universe tell me, ’Dude, it’s a drinking song, just write it.’ Once I gave in, the song kind of just
came together. I wrote about a guy whose just kind of going through it. Life for the protagonist is
getting to be too heavy, too demanding without any return. He’s just having a hard time and he’s
like ’F*ck it! I’m going out. I need a break.’ Whiskey Drinkers basically is a call to drinking arms.”
”Romona is music. The song is not only about my musical journey, but an homage to how music has
been a constant in my life, never leaving, never judging, never disappointed, and always there for
me. The song itself is full of representation and symbolism of all the different styles of music that
have inspired me, tastefully mixed and hidden throughout the track.” -Jeremiah describes.
